Accounts on X published a video clip showing the targeting of Israeli occupation soldiers in an ambush in the Gaza Strip, claiming that it was an ambush by the Radwan forces affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon, “A tight ambush by the Radwan forces.”
Kashif verified the video via Google, and found that the video is old and incorrectly linked. The video dates back to an ambush set up by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades in the Gaza Strip, not an ambush by the Radwan Force in Lebanon. The circulated video clip is an excerpt from an 8:30 video clip published by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades entitled “The Ambush of the Righteous” which it set up in the al-Zana area east of Khan Yunis on 9/4/2024.
The official channel of the Al-Qassam Brigades also published the video on 9/4/2024, “The ambush of the righteous. Scenes from targeting enemy soldiers and vehicles on the afternoon of the twenty-seventh of Ramadan from point zero in the Al-Zana area east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.”
Hezbollah announced on Thursday 10/10/2024, a series of operations in southern Lebanon, including targeting Kiryat Shmona settlement, a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers at the Marj site, and another gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in Kfar Giladi.
Israeli-Hebrew website “Ynet” stated in a report published on 10/10/2024 that the total number of Israelis dead since 7/10/2023 has reached 1696, including civilians and soldiers. While the Israeli occupation army announced on 10/10/2024 the killing of 731 soldiers.
