A video clip showing a huge fire has recently been shared on “X” , with the claim that it is a “fire in Kiryat Shmona,” coinciding with Hezbollah’s recent bombing of sites Israel.
Kashif verified the video through reverse search using the “INVID” tool, and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to Hezbollah’s recent bombing of sites in Israel. Account “ Done Safe – יועץ בטיחות אש” posted the video on Facebook on 13 December 2023, accompanied by the following text: “Fire in Kibbutz Gliut, an oil factory without fire extinguishers.” The account describes itself as “a site that provides safe advice and plans in the field of fire safety.”
The “Asr Iran” account on “ Aparat ” also published the video on 13 December 2023, accompanied by the following text: “Fire in a factory in central Tel Aviv.” The site stated in the video description: “Resistance forces targeted a factory in the occupied territories. After a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip, the “Kibbutz Galuit” factory in Tel Aviv was exposed to a massive fire.”
