Gazawood account published a video showing the moment several young men were injured in Nablus, claiming that the footage was staged and casting doubt on Palestinian casualties. The video was posted with the following caption: “A suspicious moment from this morning in Nablus: a child jumps as if shot, while another another is being placed on the ground in front of the paramedics, as the scene unfolds.”
Kashif verified the video via Google search and found that it is genuine and that the claim is misleading. The footage documents the moment medical teams (the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Medical Relief, and the “Najma” ambulance of the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees Hospital) were treating three Palestinian youths injured during an Israeli raid on the city of Nablus on 20 November 2025.
Kashif contacted videographer, Abdullah al-Bahsh, a correspondent for Quds News Agency, who confirmed that he recorded the footage on 20 November 2025 during the Israeli raid, and that it shows the moment three young men were injured near the Rahma Clinic in Nablus.
Kashif also contacted Hamza Abu Hajar, a paramedic with the Medical Relief emergency team in Nablus who appears in the video. He explained that the medical teams treated three young men injured by shrapnel and exploding live ammunition: the first suffered a pelvis injury, the second a thigh injury, and the third an injury to the right leg. All three were transported by medical teams to hospitals in the city.
This was further confirmed by Dr. Ghassan Hamdan, Director of Medical Relief, who stated that medical teams treated three young men injured during the raid near the Rahma Clinic: the first by shrapnel in the flank, the second by a live bullet in the right leg, and the third by a live bullet in the thigh, before they were transferred to Nablus hospitals.
On 20 November 2025, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Old City of Nablus and its surroundings, firing live ammunition and sound grenades in the Al-Duwar area. They also raided several shops and homes. The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that four Palestinians were injured by live fire.
