A photo of a Turkish medical aid circulated on social media with the claim that it documents the arrival of Turkish medical aid to Israel during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The claim: “This is Turkey, the property of the Muslim Brotherhood, sending medical aid to Israel”
The Correction: A photo was taken in 2020 of Israeli Airlines aircraft El Al in Istanbul, carrying medical air to the United States during the pandemic.
Kashif was able to verify that the photo is old. The aircraft that can be seen in the background is an Israeli “El Al Dreamliner” which landed on 24 May 2020 at Istanbul Airport on its way to the United States of America during the Corona pandemic.
The incident marked the first time that an Israeli plane landed in Turkey since 2010, when 10 Turkish citizens were killed on board the “Mavi Marmara” ship that attempted to break the siege of Gaza.
