A video clip showing the moment missiles were launched has recently spread on social media, with the following claim: “Hezbollah missiles were launched today and returned to the same launch site, even their missiles are tired of them and their lies, O Hussein”.

Kashif verified the video via the “INVID” tool and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to the missiles launched by Hezbollah on 23 September 2024. The video clip is an excerpt from a video published by the Israel-Hebrew Channel 14 website on 6 August 2021 in a report titled: “19 missiles were launched towards Israel and Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the shooting”.

Hezbollah  announced in a statement on 22 September 2024 that it had escalated missile attacks on the north of Israel and the occupied Syrian Golan, where it launched dozens of missiles, some of which targeted the Ramat David air base for the second time. The Israeli occupation army confirmed that it had intercepted most of those missiles, amid Israeli readiness for the possibility of a large-scale war.
