“JAFFAR” account on “X” published a video clip of the Israeli occupation forces, claiming that they were in the town of Khiyam in southern Lebanon, “The Battle of Khiyam, they harvested them, oh master.”
Kashif verified the claim and found it to be misleading. Via “Google Images” tool, Kashif found that the video documents the killing of three young men by the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin, not in the town of Khiyam in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli police account on Facebook, “Israel Police – Jerusalem,” published the video on 20/11/2024, and stated that it’s from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, where the Israeli occupation forces carried out what they called Operation “Pressure Cooker,” which included the use of rockets, hand grenades, and gunfire, resulting in murder of three young men.
Israeli-Hebrew media outlets, including Channel 14, also published the circulated video clip, and stating it’s from the city of Jenin.
Kasif also contacted journalist Amr Manasra from the city of Jenin, who reported that the circulated video is from Triangle of Martyrs village, located between the town of Qabatiya and the city of Jenin. In the details of the incident, Manasra explained that the Israeli occupation army surrounded a house in the village during its aggression on the city and camp of Jenin last Tuesday morning, during which three were killed and their bodies were detained.
The Israeli occupation army continues its attack on the town of Khiyam in the Marjeyoun district in southern Lebanon, where the aerial and artillery bombardment continued during Friday night until Saturday morning.
The occupation army’s warplanes intensified their raids on the town, and the Israeli artillery targeted its center and outskirts with heavy and medium shells, in addition to firing phosphorous shells at the Jalahiya area north of Khiyam, and blew up and demolished buildings.
On Saturday, 23/11/2024, Hezbollah announced a series of attacks on gatherings of Israeli occupation forces with rocket salvoes east of the city of Khiam.
