Social media accounts posted a video documenting a missile attack causing massive explosion, claiming it was a missile from Yemen that landed in Herzliya, occupied Palestine. The video was accompanied by the following text: “A scene during Yemeni hypersonic Palestine 2 missile attack on a sensitive target in the Herzliya area, occupied Palestine.”

Kashif verified the video via Google Images search and found it to be old and falsely linked to the Houthis’ attacks on Israel. The clip is of the Iranian missile attack on Israel in early October 2024.
Al Masirah TV posted the video on its X account on 1/10/2024, with the following text: “Iranian missiles fell on Zionist targets in Herzliya, central occupied Palestine.” Al Manar TV also posted it on its X account on the same date, accompanied by the following description: “Video | New footage of the moment the Zionist enemy’s positions in northern Tel Aviv were bombarded with Iranian missiles.”
