A video of a child calling for a ceasefire in Gaza has gone viral claiming it’s of a Palestinian child getting the golden buzzer after “an amazing show that made them cry on America’s Got Talent.”
Kashif verified the video and found it to be fabricated and and misleading, the footage in the viral video was taken out from two posts by “America’s Got Talent” aired on 31 May 2023 and 19 July 2023, and another post by “Got Talent España” which was aired on 28 September 2022.
Kashif’s team found that the child’s body circumference looks abnormal, indicating that the child’s image was added to the background of the two shows, “America’s Got Talent” and “Got Talent España”.
“GOLDEN BUZZER” YouTube channel which published the video, is a channel that produces edited and fabricated videos of unreal participants in talent shows, specifically “America’s Got Talent”.
