Sky News account on “X” published a link to a report, the cover of which was a photo showing a person trying to put out a huge fire, and the following text was attached: “Breaking: The UK has announced sanctions against several Iranian senior military figures and organizations following Iran’s multiple rocket attacks on Israel on 1 October,” indicating that the photo was taken after the Iranian attack on Israel.
Kashif verified the image via “Google Images” tool, and found that it was taken from a video clip documenting a fire in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza after it was targeted by the Israeli airstrikes on 14/10/2024.
Al Jazeera published the video on 10/14/2024 in a report titled: “A huge fire and charred bodies… brutal scenes from a bloody night at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza.”
Reuters also published the video on 14/10/2024 under the title “Displaced Palestinians woke up to find their tents on fire in the early hours of Monday after an Israeli airstrike hit Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza.”
The Israeli occupation army launched air raids targeting Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah on Monday, 14/10/2024, which led to a large fire that spread to about 30 tents.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement on 14/10/2024 that four people were killed and more than 40 injured, including serious cases, most of whom were children and women, after the Israeli occupation army targeted the displaced tents in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital at dawn on Monday, 14/10/2024.
