A video clip of a Lebanese girl mourning the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, has spread on social media, claiming that the girl is Zeinab, Nasrallah’s daughter, “The daughter of the assassinated Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah teaches us a lesson about the meaning of steadfastness, perseverance and determination, in the darkest and most difficult circumstances”.
Kashif verified the video via reverse search on Google, and found that the claim is misleading and the video is incorrectly linked. The video is of Lebanese girl, Mariam Khader, not Zeinab, Nasrallah’s daughter. Khader posted it the video on Saturday 28/9/2024, on her Instagram account tab_yeen, mourning the loss of Hassan Nasrallah . She later clarified in the comments that she is not Hassan Nasrallah’s daughter and that she is a supporter of him and the resistance. She also posted another video in which she clarified that her name is Mariam Khader and that she is not Hassan Nasrallah’s daughter and called for the removal of the videos circulating under the title that Zainab Nasrallah mourns her father Hassan Nasrallah.
Israeli media also published information about the killing of Zeinab Nasrallah, the daughter of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, in the raid that targeted the southern suburb of Beirut, while Hezbollah’s official websites did not publish any information about Zeinab Nasrallah.
Hezbollah announced on Saturday 28/92024 the killing of the party’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli bombing on Friday, on the southern suburbs of Lebanon. Reuters announced, quoting sources, on Sunday 29/9/2024, that Hassan Nasrallah’s body was found at the targeted site in the southern suburbs.
