A picture of the remains of a ring has spread on social media, with the claim that it belongs to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated by the Israeli occupation on Friday, 27 September 2024, “A picture of Hassan Nasrallah’s ring from the targeting site in the suburb”.
Kashif verified the image via reverse image search on Google Image, it found that the image is old and the claim is misleading. The image was published by several accounts on X, including an account named AL_Shara313 on 1/5/2024, accompanied by the following text: “What remains of our martyr #Leader Abu Taqwa is like Qassem,” and an account named fadk_alamir93 on 1/6/2024, accompanied by the following text: “The rings of the leaders, the martyred leader Soleimani and the martyr Abu Taqwa,” that is, before the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah yesterday, Friday, 27 September 2024, in the southern suburbs of Lebanon.
