Gazawood account on “X” published a video of the farewell of child Sham Muhammad Salah Abu Zahra from Tulkarm camp, claiming that the video is not real and that the child is a doll, “We suspect that the Palestinians are using dolls for propaganda. What do you think?”
Kashif verified the video and found it to be real and the claim to be misleading. Kashif contacted video journalist Mishaal Abu al-Rub from the city of Jenin, who covers the northern West Bank for Palestine Post Agency. Abu al-Rub confirmed that the video is real and of the farewell of 7-year-old girl Sham Muhammad Salah Abu Zahra, who was killed with members of her family on 3/10/2024 after an Israeli occupation strike on Tulkarm camp. The family included: the father Muhammad Salah Abu Zahra, 32-year-old, the mother Saja Nasser Khreiush, 28-year-old, her brother Karam Muhammad Abu Zahra, 8-year-old, and her uncle Mahmoud Nasser Khreiush, 23-year-old.
On 4/10/2024, journalist Raghad Salama posted another video on her Instagram account “raghadsalameh” to bid farewell to the child Sham Muhammad Salah Abu Zahra, the post reads, “In my city, they kill childhood, the child Sham Abu Zahra, daughter of Tulkarm camp.”
Kashif also contacted the paramedic and volunteer in the Red Crescent, Fathi Nasrallah, who received the child Sham and shrouded her. He explained that the child’s face was severely burned by the missile and the high heat, which made it appear red, and that her entire body was burned and parts of it were amputated.
It is noteworthy that on 10/3/2024, the occupation aircraft bombed a popular café in the Al-Hamam neighborhood in Tulkarm camp with a missile, killing 18 citizens and wounding others
