Old video of an abandoned California mine republised as tunnels belonging to Palestinian resistance in Gaza

A video of a motorist driving in a tunnel, mine, was shared on social media with the claim its in the Palestinian resistance tunnels underneath Gaza.

Kashif was able to confirm that the video is old and misleading. Through the reverse search feature and research in public sources, Kashif found that the video owner is Killian Moreno, an adventurous motorist and content creator.

Killian Moreno published the video on 5 February 2023, asking, “Would you drive your motorcycle to the end?”

Kashif also found that Moreno had posted a video of the same place with the bike lying on the ground dated 26 February 2023 with the following caption, “Driving inside an abandoned mine in Southern California.”
