A viral video on social media of Adele holding a flag was posted and titled, “Adele singing ‘when we were young’ while holding the Palestinian flag”.
Kashif verified the video and found it to be outdated and the claim misleading. Using the reverse search feature and searching in public sources, Kashif was able to access the full video, which was published by “adelelaurieadkins_br” on TikTok on 2 October 2023, prior to the war on Gaza.
The singer is can be seen at the end of the video handing, she hands the flag to a girl where it can be clear that the flag is a Mexico flag.
