News spread on WhatsApp groups, stating that: “The Ministry of Education has decided to postpone public school hours again until 30 October 2024”.
Kashif Monitor contacted the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, who denied the news, stressing that the start of the new academic year will be as scheduled on 9 September 2024.
The Ministry also stated on its website that the academic staff will be on head of their work on 2 September 2024, while the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year starts for students on 9 September 2024.
