A video clip of an Israeli occupation army soldier inside a mosque has spread on social media and WhatsApp groups, claiming that it was a conversation during the current military operation in Jenin camp. The video was accompanied by the following text: “The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army sends a message to the residents of Jenin refugee camp from inside the central mosque in the camp.”
Kashif verified the video via search on Google, found that the video is old, from 2023.
Israeli website Ynet published the video on 15/12/2023 as part of a report talking about the behavior of soldiers inside the mosque in Jenin camp, entitled: “Slogans and writings of ‘Israel’ candles on the walls of the mosque in Jenin: The occupation army stops soldiers from working.”
Reuters also published a video clip among several video clips of Israeli occupation soldiers chanting prayers inside a mosque in Jenin camp on YouTube on 15/12/2023.
The Israeli occupation army continues its military operation on the city of Jenin and its camp for the fifteenth consecutive day, which led to the killing of 25 citizens, the displacement of more than 15,000 citizens from Jenin camp, and the complete demolition of nearly 100 homes in Jenin camp, amid widespread destruction of the infrastructure.
