Accounts on X published a video clip showing the arrest of dozens of civilians, handcuffed and blindfolded, on board military trucks, with the claim that the video shows the arrest of members of the Radwan Force affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon, “After their surrender, Israel arrests all members of the Radwan Mujahideen Brigade in the city of Aita al-Shaab.”
Kashif verified the video via Google Image tool, and found that the video is old. The video dates back to the arrest of dozens of civilian men and young men who appear handcuffed and blindfolded on military trucks in Jabalia camp. The video was published by Al Jazeera Mubasher on 23/10/2024 with the following title: “Israeli Broadcasting Authority: Army forces arrested dozens of Palestinians in Jabalia.”
Al-Arabiya channel also published the same video on 23/10/2024, with the following title: “The Israeli Broadcasting Authority publishes scenes of the transfer of detainees from Jabalia for the purpose of investigating them.”
The Israeli occupation army published a video clip on 29/10/2024, claiming that it documents the arrest of the commander of the Aita al-Shaab region in Hezbollah and other members of the Radwan Force in southern Lebanon.
