Social media accounts have circulated a video showing a group of female prisoners disembarking from a bus, claiming they were recently released as part of the latest prisoner exchange deal. The video was accompanied by the caption: “Emotional moments as our sisters take their first steps out of Ofer Prison, breathing the air of freedom… their faces radiate joy and smiles, chanting for the resistance and raising the victory sign. And on that day, the believers will rejoice at Allah’s victory.”
Kashif verified the video via “Google Images” and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to the recently released prisoners. The video dates back to November 2023 and shows the release of female prisoners during a previous prisoner exchange deal.
On 24/11/2023, the video was shared by Quds News Network on “X” with the caption: “Media coverage: Raising victory signs… the moment of release of female prisoners as part of the first resistance prisoner exchange deal.”
On 25/11/2023, the video was also shared by Al-Araby TV – Palestine on Facebook with the caption: “The moment the bus carrying freed Palestinian female prisoners arrives as part of the prisoner exchange deal.”
