A video clip showing a violent clashes has spread on social media, with claims that the video is recent from clashes on Nablus Street in the city of Jenin.
Kashif verified the video and through reverse search found that it is old and incorrectly linked. The video was published by Abu Turab Al-Basrawi’s account on YouTube on 13 December 2020, titled: “A battle in Karma Ali Al-Majidiya, violent clashes.”
Fact-checker Raneen Abahra from the city of Jenin, told Kashif that the geography of the video does not match the geography of Nablus Street in the city of Jenin, and that the dialect of the young men in the video does not match the Palestinian dialect.

The Israeli occupation army announced a military operation in the city of Jenin and its camp and continues its aggression for the fourth consecutive day, amid widespread destruction of the infrastructure and the imposition of a siege on the camp and the eastern neighborhood in the city of Jenin. Until the publishing of this report, 12 Palestinians were killed during the operation, including 6 by the Israeli drones.
