A photo has recently spread on social media showing Israeli soldiers carrying another soldier, “Breaking: your brothers crushed the enemy’s head on the border. The enemy has gone crazy,” indicating that the photo shows the killing of an Israeli soldier in battles with Hezbollah.
Kashif verified the image via “Google Images” tool, and found that it is old and linked to battles with Hezbollah. The image dates back to a combat training exercise by the Israeli occupation army in the Negev desert in 2005.
GettyImages website published the photo on 14/12/2005, titled: “Mixed-gender unit in the Israeli army completes basic combat training.”
The website described the photo as, “Male and female Israeli soldiers running through the night carrying their comrade on a stretcher as recruits in the mixed Karakol infantry combat brigade complete their basic training.” The website added that the photo was taken in the Negev desert on 14/12/2005.
The Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday 9/10/2024, that three soldiers were seriously injured during the battles in southern Lebanon.
Israeli-Hebrew website “Ynet” stated in a report published on7/10/2024 that the total number of Israelis dead since 7 October 2023 has reached 1,690 dead, including civilians and Israeli soldiers. The Israeli occupation army announced the killing of 730 soldiers.
