Information stating: “It has been officially reported that the invasion of the city of Nablus will begin in the coming hours and all its entrances and exits will be closed until further notice” has spread on social media.
Kashif verified the circulated information and found that it was fabricated. The military liaison denied the accuracy of this information and confirmed that it had not been informed about the invasion of the city of Nablus until now.
Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas also denied to Kashif that there had been an invasion of the city of Nablus or that the entrances and exits of the governorate had been closed.
Journalist Amin Abu Warda from Balata camp, confirmed to Kashif that there is no invasion of the city of Nablus nor any closures of its entrances.
