News on social media about the Israeli occupation army separating Deir al-Balah from Khan Yunis city on the side of Qarara port was shared like wildfire.

Kashif verified the information and found it to be incorrect. Kashif’s correspondent in the Gaza Strip, Ahmed Jouda, who is located near the road between Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis, confirmed that the information is incorrect and that the road is open and there is no presence of the Israeli occupation army in that area.

Kashif also contacted journalist Osama Al-Kahlout, Al-Arabiya correspondent in Gaza, who denied the information, confirming that there were no Israeli occupation army tanks on the sea road between Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis.

The Israeli occupation army distributed evacuation leaflets to residents on Wednesday, 21 August 2024, from new areas in the city of Deir al-Balah, specifically the Harat al-Mahta area, which bears Blocks No. 129 and 130.
