Accounts on “X” recently published a photo showing smoke, claiming that it was the headquarters of the Israeli Defense Ministry after being targeted by Hezbollah.
KashIf verified the image via “Google Images” tool and found that it is old and dates back to raids launched by the Israeli occupation army on Baalbek, eastern Lebanon, in March 2024.
Media outlets such as Al-Jadeed and Al-Arabiya TV published the photo on 11/3/2024, and explained that the photo shows raids launched by the Israeli occupation on the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon.
A report published by the Annahar website on 11/3/2024, which included the circulated image, stated that the Israeli occupation army launched two raids on the Bekaa region on Monday, 11/3/2024. The first was west of Baalbek in the outskirts of Shamshtar, and the second targeted a house in the vicinity of Douris, near Dar Al-Amal Hospital.
Hezbollah announced in a statement dated 13/11/2024 that it had targeted the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the war management room, and the Air Force’s military control and oversight body in Tel Aviv, with “Qader 2” ballistic missiles.
