A telegram channel with the name “Photographer Moataz Azaiza”, with a following of over 63,000, is impersonating the well-known Gazan photographer Moataz Azaiza, and sharing news and information about the Gaza Strip.

Kashif contacted Azaiza to verify the authenticity of the channel, in which Azaiza denied any connection to it.
Azaiza explained that he has an account on Instagram with the handel, motaz_azaiza, where it’s verified and documented and is followed by more than 12.8 million followers, and a verified Facebook account called Motaz azaiza, followed by nearly 300,000 , and an account on X, formerly known as Twitter, azaizamotaz9, which is also verified and followed by over 200,000 followers.
