Information has spread on social media about the Fatah movement regions in the West Bank declaring a general strike on Sunday, in condemnation of the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and in mourning for the souls of the martyrs in Lebanon and Gaza.
Kashif verified the information and found it to be fabricated. It contacted the National Relations Coordinator in Fatah, Tayseer Nasrallah, who denied the information and confirmed that it was not issued by Fatah.
The spokesperson of the Israeli occupation army, Avichay Adraee, announced on Saturday 28 September 2024, the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. The official website of Hezbollah also announced the assassination of its Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in the Israeli bombing on Friday, 27 September 2024, on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
