Accounts on social media circulated a graphic attributed to Al Jazeera Egypt, which included a statement allegedly made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reading:
We thank the Axis of Good countries—Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Jordan—for helping us during the war, and we will never forget their supportive stance.”

The Israeli-Hebrew affairs verification team at Kashif investigated the statement and found it to be fabricated. The team searched through official Israeli media and websites but found no trace of the quoted statement.

The team also determined that the graphic attributed to Al Jazeera Egypt was doctored. A review of Al Jazeera Egypt’s official Facebook page showed no such post or statement. Additionally, the team identified several spelling and formatting errors in the fake design, such as:

  • Incorrect placement of the colon
  • Extra spacing before “UAE” and “Egypt”
  • A gap between the words “Jordan” and “who”
  • Missing hamza (glottal stop) in words like “الإمارات” (UAE) and “الأردن” (Jordan)
