A video clip has spread on social media showing scenes from the city of Jenin and people cleaning the streets, with the claim that the video was taken on September 2024.
Kashif verified the information and via reverse search on Google, it found that the video was incorrectly linked. The video was shot and edited by Qaed Al-Saadi, on 5 July 2023. The video shows scenes of cleaning the streets of Jenin after a military operation launched by the Israeli occupation army on the city of Jenin and its camp in July 2023.

Journalist and fact-checker at Kashif, Raneen Abahra, from Jenin, captured video clips documenting the campaign that took place in Jenin from villages and towns to help remove rubble and destruction from the city’s streets.
The Israeli occupation army withdrew from the city of Jenin and its camp after a large-scale military operation that lasted for nine days, which resulted in murder of 21 Palestinian citizens and widespread destruction of infrastructure, public property, shops and homes.
