Information attributed to Israeli media stating: “News of a run-over attack near the town of Turmusaya, north of Ramallah” was widely shared on social media.
Kashif verified the claim and found it to be fabricated. Mayor of Turmusaya, Lafi Adeeb, told Kashif that the news is not true, confirming that the street claimed to be the site of the operation is still open to vehicles and has not been closed.
Member of the Fatah Movement in Turmusaya, Tariq Abu Shira, denied to Kashif the news of an operation taking place near the town, adding that it was a false report.
Kashif’s Israel-Hebrew team verified the circulated information, and found no mention of it.
