The GAZAWOOD1 account on “X” recently published a video clip showing people wearing military uniforms with a filming crew present, and the clip was accompanied by the following claim: “I love the Palestinians’ behind-the-scenes,” indicating that the video is evidence of Palestinians’ falsification of scenes in Gaza.
GAZAWOOD1 account questions the existence of casualties and wounded in the Gaza Strip and accuses the Palestinians of acting in order to gain international sympathy.
Kashif verified the video via “Invid” tool, and found that it is old and the claim is misleading. The video is of the scenes of Palestinian series “Bleeding of the Earth” that was broadcast last Ramadan on the “Al-Araby 2” YouTube channel.
The series director, Bashar Al-Najjar, posted the video on his TikTok account on 4/11/2024, with the description: “Young people need training #Bleeding of the Earth #Bashar Al -Najjar #Director.” He explained in a description inside the video that it was a scene from behind the scenes of filming.
The series photographer, Laith Omran, who appears in the video clip, told Kashif that the video is of the filming of “Bleeding of the Earth” series. He added that this scene appears in the series between 33:54 minutes and 34:01 minutes of the second episode, which was published on the “Al-Araby 2” channel on YouTube on 3/12/2024.
“Bleeding of the Earth” is a Palestinian drama series that was filmed in the West Bank. The series sheds light on the reality of the Palestinian countryside and simulates the scene that the West Bank is currently experiencing from the expansion of settlements, settler attacks, and Israeli occupation army raids, which include the abuse of Palestinians, their arrests, and the raiding of their homes.
