Accounts on “X” recently published a video clip showing extensive destruction, claiming that it was Hezbollah targeting the Haifa naval base. The video was accompanied by the following text: “For the first time, Hezbollah targets the Haifa naval base, which includes a fleet of missile boats and submarines in Haifa Bay.”

Kashif verified the video via reverse Google search and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to Hezbollah targeting an occupation naval base. The video was published by Israeli website “Jewish Daily News” on 20/11/2023, accompanied by the following title: “Has the red line not been crossed yet? This is what the Burnett base looked like after Hezbollah’s attack.”

Al-Arabiya channel also published the same video on 11/20/2023, accompanied by the following title: “The effects of destruction in the “Branit” barracks in northern Israel after it was targeted by a missile attack from southern Lebanon.”

Hezbollah announced a series of operations targeting the Branit base since the beginning of the war in October 2023, including on 20/11/2023, targeting the Branit base, the command center of the 91st Division, with Burkan missiles.
