First,\u00a0accounts<\/a>\u00a0circulated a video clip documenting a blaze of fire, claiming it was a recent one in the Al-Hudaydah Governorate in western Yemen. The clip was accompanied by the following text: \u201cBreaking, Al Hudaydah now.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the clip via Google Images search and found it to be old and falsely linked to the recent US airstrikes on Hudaydah .\u00a0“meftahasamdi<\/a>\u201d TikTok account posted the video on 20\/7\/2024, and stated that it documents the aftermath of the Israeli occupation army\u2019s bombing of the port of Al Hudaydah

Second:\u00a0The accounts<\/a>\u00a0reposted a video clip showing moments of a massive bombing, claiming it was a recent incident in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a. The clip was accompanied by the following text: “Breaking: oh my God, Sana’a is on fire.”\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

After verifying the video, Kashif found that it’s old and falsely linked to US airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.\u00a0CNN<\/a>\u00a0Arabic published the video on 29\/9\/2024, and explained that it depicted an Israeli air force attack on the Yemeni coastal city of Hudaydah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BBC<\/a>\u00a0also published\u00a0the same video on 30\/9\/2024, stating that the clip \u201cwas circulated on social media and shows a massive explosion in the port of Hudaydah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Third: Accounts<\/a> circulated a video clip of the moment a missile fell, claiming it was recent and documenting the Iron Dome’s failure to intercept a ballistic missile coming from Yemen. <\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif’s team found the video to be old and the claim misleading. It was posted\u00a0on YouTube\u00a0by Al-Arabiya channel on 21\/12\/2024, with the following caption: \u201cIsrael says it failed to intercept a missile coming from Yemen.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

On 20\/3\/2025, the official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General\u00a0Yahya Saree<\/a>, announced that Ben Gurion Airport had been targeted with a hypersonic ballistic missile. Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it could cross Israeli airspace.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourth: The accounts<\/a>\u00a0published\u00a0a video clip of a bomber flight, claiming that it was recent and that it shows American bombers heading to the Middle East. The clip was accompanied by the following text: \u201c9 fuel tankers carrying 3 B1, B2, and B52 bombers on their way to the Middle East.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The clip was posted on 13\/6\/2024, by Instagram account \u201cSKY FIGHTERS CLUB<\/a>\u201d, which specializes in military aviation content. The caption reads, \u201cIf you see them, you\u2019re not the target! US Air Force B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, and B-52 Stratofortress bombers flying in formation.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

On 21\/3\/2025, CNN\u00a0Arabic<\/a>\u00a0reported that a US official stated that his country was sending a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East in light of the US military’s ongoing attacks in Yemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0The United States<\/a>\u00a0is launching attacks on Yemen, with US President Donald Trump vowing to “completely eliminate” the Houthis. The Houthis have resumed missile attacks on Israel as the latter resumes its aggression against the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
