Kashif verified the images and found them to be fake and generated using artificial intelligence. Kashif examined the images using the AI-generated image evaluation tool\u00a0“sightengine,”<\/a>\u00a0and the results showed that they were 88% fake. Kashif also examined the elements of the images and found several distortions: unnatural overlap between the lynx and the soldier, and distorted details such as ears, shadows, and facial features. Additionally, there are inconsistent lighting, background noise, and illogical details in clothing and the body.<\/p>\n\n\n

Israeli media outlets, including\u00a0Ynet,<\/a>\u00a0reported an incident on the border with Egypt, where a wild animal known as an “Egyptian lynx” attacked a group of Israeli soldiers in the Harif Mountains area of \u200b\u200bthe Negev Desert during a routine patrol in the border area. The incident resulted in a number of soldiers sustaining injuries ranging from minor to moderate, resulting from bites and scratches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
