Kashif verified the video via Google Images and found that it was old and falsely linked to US airstrikes targeting Yemeni capital, Sana’a. The video circulated in August 2024 and has no connection to the recent US airstrikes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201c Engineer Badr Tamah<\/a> \u201d account on Facebook posted the circulating video on August 30, 2024, with the following text: \u201cA gas station explosion in Mansoura, Aden.\u201d The \u201c Ibb Rohi<\/a> \u201d account also posted it on Facebook on August 31, 2024, with the following description: \u201cAnother video showing the amount of fire caused by a gas station explosion!! May God protect the workers there and passersby.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n

Asharq Al-Awsat<\/a>\u00a0reported on 31\/8\/2024, that an explosion occurred at a gas station on Friday evening, 30\/8\/2024, in the southern Yemeni city of Aden, killing three people and injuring 18 others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media outlets affiliated with the Ansar Allah group, Houthis<\/a>, reported that a series of US airstrikes targeted areas in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, including Jabal Sarf area and another open area near West 60th Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 18\/3\/2025 , the official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General\u00a0Yahya Saree,<\/a>\u00a0announced the implementation of a military operation targeting US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman for the third time within 48 hours, and targeting an American destroyer, in response to the “American aggression.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
