The video was accompanied by the following text: “The shelling has not stopped for three hours. The Syrian army is raining down missiles on Hezbollah strongholds.”

Kashif verified the video’s and found it to be old and falsely linked to the Syrian army’s bombing of sites inside Lebanese territory. The video originally circulated in December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFans of Media Personality Jamil Al-Hassan<\/a>\u201d page on Facebook published\u00a0the video clip, which was circulated on 10\/12\/2023, along the following text: \u201cIn response to the repeated targeting of civilian neighborhoods, markets, and schools in the city of Idlib, the Al-Fath Al-Mubin operations are targeting military barracks in Nubl and Al-Zahraa in the Aleppo countryside.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The Lebanese-Syrian border<\/a>\u00a0witnessed armed clashes on Sunday night, in addition to the Syrian army\u2019s shelling of the Lebanese Al-Qasr area. This came after the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that a group of Hezbollah members had ambushed and kidnapped three Syrian army personnel on the Lebanese border, before taking them to Lebanese territory and executing them. However, Hezbollah denied in a statement its involvement in the events that took place on the Lebanese-Syrian border \u201ccategorically.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
