Social media accounts<\/a>\u00a0posted\u00a0a photo showing a shipment of weapons, claiming that the Israeli occupation forces had seized them on their way to Jenin via Jordan. The photo was accompanied by the following description: \u201cHebrew HaBezek website: A shipment of weapons was seized on its way to Jenin via Jordan before it could reach Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the claim and found that it is old. Kashif’s Israel-Hebrew affairs team searched Israeli-Hebrew media and websites and did not find any mention of the recent seizure of weapons heading to Jenin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By searching the circulated image using the \u201cGoogle Images\u201d tool, the Observatory team found that the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation<\/a> \u201cMakan\u201d had published the image on 11\/27\/2024 in a report with the following title: \u201cA quantity of Iranian weapons seized on its way to Jenin.\u201d The website stated that dozens of weapons sent by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were seized before they arrived in Jenin in the West Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli occupation army<\/a>\u00a0announced on Tuesday 21\/1\/2025 the launch of a military operation in the Jenin camp called \u201cThe Iron Wall\u201d, which has\u00a0so far\u00a0resulted in the killing of 12 and injury of 50 others.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
