Kashif verified the image via \u201cGoogle Images\u201d tool and found that it was taken from an old video clip and that the claim is misleading, as the image documents Assad and his wife\u2019s visit to the injured in the 2023 earthquake at Aleppo University Hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)<\/a>\u00a0published\u00a0a video clip on its account on \u201cX\u201d on 10\/2\/2023, from which the circulated image was cut from the first shot, and the video was accompanied by the following text: \u201cPresident al-Assad addressing the medical staff at Aleppo University Hospital: This is patriotism, and this is heroism\u2026 This is Syria and this is Aleppo.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
