Social media\u00a0accounts<\/a>\u00a0recently published a video clip that includes two scenes: the first is of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the second is of a person being beaten, claiming to be Netanyahu. The video was accompanied by the following claim: \u201cBecause of his loss in Lebanon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is being beaten by members of the Israeli parliament.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the video via \u201cGoogle Images\u201d tool and found that the video consists of two different clips and that the claim is misleading.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first scene, which occurs between 0.00 and 0.01, is an excerpt from a video published by the Israeli Prime Minister,\u00a0Benjamin Netanyahu,<\/a>\u00a0on his account on \u201cX\u201d on 29\/9\/2024. During which he announced the expansion of his government coalition and the inclusion of opposition MK and former minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar in it.<\/p>\n\n\n

The second scene, which took place between 0.02 and 0.19, was published by haberturk<\/a>\u00a0website on 19\/1\/2013, and stated that the video documents the assassination attempt on Ahmed Dogan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The Associated Press<\/a>\u00a0also posted\u00a0the video on its YouTube channel with the following title: \u201cParty leader threatened with gun while giving a speech.\u201d The channel stated in the video\u2019s description that Bulgarian police arrested a man after he pointed a gun at the leader of the Turkish minority party, Ahmet Dogan, while he was giving a speech at a party conference in the capital, Sofia, on Saturday, January 19, 2013. No shots were fired.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

A report published by\u00a0Al Jazeera<\/a>\u00a0on 19\/1\/2013, which included a truncated image of the same event, stated that \u201cAhmet Dogan, the leader of the Bulgarian Movement for Rights and Freedoms, which represents the Turkish minority in Bulgaria, survived an assassination attempt with a gun during a party conference in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.\u201d The report added that the attacker is 25-year-old Oktay Eni Mehmedov, a Bulgarian from the Turkish minority, and he was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n

On 28\/10\/2024, the Israeli Prime Minister,<\/a>\u00a0Benjamin Netanyahu, posted\u00a0a video on his \u201cX\u201d account of his speech before the Knesset, in which he spoke about his intention to expand peace agreements with other countries in the region after the occupation achieves its goals in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Upon examining the video clip, Kashif’s team found that Netanyahu was not beaten during the speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceasefire agreement<\/a>\u00a0between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army began on 27\/11\/2024, after months of mutual military operations between the two parties, after Hezbollah announced the opening of a support front for Gaza following Operation \u201cAl-Aqsa Flood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli occupation’s violations<\/a>\u00a0of the ceasefire amounted to more than 75 violations until Monday afternoon, 2\/12\/2024, targeting villages and towns deep inside Lebanon, accompanied by shelling that targeted members of the Lebanese army and state security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part,\u00a0Hezbollah<\/a>\u00a0announced in a statement on Monday, 2\/12\/2024, that it targeted Israeli army Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with two missiles, as an \u201cinitial warning defensive response\u201d to the occupation\u2019s violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli occupation army<\/a>\u00a0targeted, on Tuesday night 3\/12\/2024, the towns of Haris in Bint Jbeil District and Taloussa in Marjeyoun District in southern Lebanon with raids, which resulted in the killing of nine people and the injury of three others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
