A video clip of a bombing has recently spread on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0with the claim that it was a missile attack carried out by the Syrian army on the Aleppo countryside. The clip was accompanied by the following text: \u201cScenes of the missile attack carried out by the Syrian army on the positions of the Al-Nusra Front and their movements in the western Aleppo countryside.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the video via \u201cGoogle Images\u201d tool and found that it is old and was incorrectly linked to the \u201cDeterrence of Aggression\u201d military operation in Syria. The clip was circulated in June 2020, i.e. before the announcement of the start of the \u201cDeterrence of Aggression\u201d operation on 27\/11\/2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLibyan Army .01.<\/a>\u201d Facebook account published the video clip on 4\/6\/2024, and posted by the account “Libyan people against terrorism<\/a>” on Facebook on 29\/6\/2024 and mentioned that he is from Libya.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kashif was unable to verify the context of the video, but its old publication in 2020 confirms that it was before the start of the \u201cDeterrence of Aggression\u201d military operation in Syria on 27\/11\/2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
