A link attributed to Premi\u00e8re Urgence Internationale (PUI) has been circulating on\u00a0social media,<\/a>\u00a0claiming that it is for registering for cash assistance for families in the Gaza Strip.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the link and found that it was fake. Kashif contacted the media officer at the International Relief Organization – Gaza Office, Ghaid Al-Hissi, who denied publishing any links to register for a cash assistance grant provided by the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Hissi explained that the organization opened the door for registration and collecting information from citizens to provide cash and other services several months ago, not recently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization also denied, via its official\u00a0Facebook<\/a>\u00a0account on 17\/11\/2024, that the link to register for cash assistance in circulation had been issued by it, calling for reliance exclusively on information issued by the organization\u2019s official accounts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
