\u201cYouba Tv<\/a>\u201d account on \u201cX\u201d published a photo showing the late Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erekat, on a hospital bed with a group of people, claiming that one of his sons is married to an Israeli woman, \u201cThe photo is of the Palestinian politician Saeb Erekat, who has always attacked Israel in his statements and attacked the normalization of relations between the Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain in 2020, but when he fell ill, he refused treatment in Ramallah hospitals and went to receive treatment at Hadassah Hospital in Israel and surrendered to Israeli doctors. Kashif verified the claim and found it to be misleading. Dalal Erekat, Saeb Erekat\u2019s daughter, told to Kasif that the photo is old of her father undergoing a lung transplant in an American hospital with the then Palestinian ambassador to the United States, Hussam Zomlot, and not in Hadassah Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erekat denied the allegations that her brothers were married to Israeli women. She confirmed that her brother Ali is married to Feryal Abdo, a Palestinian woman who holds a Palestinian ID and lives in Jericho, and her brother Mohammed Erekat is engaged to Renad Khashan, a Palestinian woman who holds a Jerusalem ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that her father received treatment in an American hospital, and that due to the lack of a lung transplant specialist in the West Bank Erekat, was transferred to Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem when he was infected with the Covid-19 virus and died there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Palestinian News and Information Agency, WAFA,<\/a>\u00a0reported that Saeb Erekat underwent a lung transplant in the United States of America in 2017, and on 9\/7\/2020, it was announced that he had been infected with the Corona virus, then on 18\/10\/2020, he was transferred to the hospital again to receive treatment, and on 10\/11\/2020 his death was officially announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
