Kashif verified the information and found that it was plagiarism. Kashif searched the website and official accounts of the\u00a0NBC\u00a0<\/a>network<\/a>\u00a0on social media platforms and did not find any mention of this information.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kashif also searched\u00a0the Hamas\u00a0website and its official channel on Telegram and did not find any mention of the assassination of Abu Obeida, the spokesperson of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. The last thing the movement published was a mourning for the head of Hezbollah\u2019s Executive Council, Hashem Safi al-Din, in addition to\u00a0<\/a>the movement\u2019s condemnation of the attack<\/a>\u00a0that targeted the Turkish Aerospace Industries Company (TUSA\u015e) in Ankara.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli-Hebrew affairs team at Kashif searched the media and official Hebrew websites and did not find any mention of the assassination or targeting of Abu Obeida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kashif<\/a>\u00a0had previously verified a claim attributed to NBC regarding the recent release of 20 Israeli prisoners by Hamas, and it turned out to be fabricated and baseless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
