A photo of a military vehicle has recently spread on\u00a0social media<\/a>, with the claim that it documents the targeting of Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon, the text reads: \u201cAn ambush in the town of Al-Qawzah in southern Lebanon, there is a large number of dead and wounded.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

One source of the claim<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the image via \u201cGoogle Images\u201d tool, and found that it is old and screenshot from a video clip, and the claim is misleading. The image dates back to an operation that took place in 2006 in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image was taken from a video clip published by Hezbollah\u2019s\u00a0War Media<\/a>\u00a0on Telegram on 7\/12\/2021, with the following text: \u201cThe War Media of the Islamic Resistance published new scenes of the operation to capture two Israeli soldiers on 12 July 2006 in Khallet Warda, southern Lebanon. Upon examining the video clip, it became clear that the circulated image is located at minute 3:15.<\/p>\n\n\n

On 13\/7\/2021, Ma’an<\/a>\u00a0News Agency published\u00a0the photo in a report titled: \u201cVideo – Hezbollah publishes scenes for the first time of the operation of capturing two soldiers in 2006.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Hezbollah’s\u00a0war media announced in a statement on 17\/10\/2024 that two Israeli Merkava tanks were targeted in the Labouneh Heights, leading to their burning and the deaths and injuries of their crew.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli occupation army<\/a>\u00a0did not announce information regarding such incident on official Israeli army website. Since 7 October 2023 1,677 Israelis have been killed. including Israeli soliders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
