A photo<\/a>\u00a0of two dead bodies on the ground was shared by social media accounts claiming that it’s in Jabalia in the Gaza Strip, \u201cJabalia is being destroyed. Whoever leaves his home dies, and whoever stays home dies of hunger.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

One source of the claim<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the image via Google, and found that it is old and taken from a video clip and incorrectly linked to the Gaza Strip. The image was taken in Aleppo in 2016, not from Gaza.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image was screenshot from a video clip published by\u00a0Abdul Karim Laila<\/a>\u2019s account on YouTube on 16\/7\/2016, with the title \u201cHorrific massacres in Aleppo and more than 50 martyrs in bombing by Russian warplanes and helicopters.\u201d Upon examining the video clip, it was found that the circulated image occurs at minute 02:08.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cShia-News<\/a>\u201d website also published\u00a0the circulating photo on 28\/7\/2016 and stated that it was of child victims in the Syrian war.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 13\/12\/2016, Shams News Agency<\/a>\u00a0published\u00a0the photo in a report with the following title: \u201cBodies everywhere, the living in their last moments, crying out for help, Aleppo is being destroyed.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 13\/10\/2024,\u00a0\u00a0the Israeli occupation army targeted residential areas in the Jabalia and Al-Tawam areas with artillery shelling and intensive air strikes, which resulted in the killing of dozens and the injury of others.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the latest update\u00a0from the Ministry of Health<\/a>\u00a0in the Gaza Strip, the death toll from the Israeli aggression is at 42,227 and 98,464 injuries since 7 October 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
