A video clip of a huge fire has recently spread on \u201c\u00a0X<\/a>\u00a0\u201d, with the claim that it is a fire that broke out in Wadi Araba as a result of the fall of an Iraqi drone. The clip was accompanied by the following claim: \u201cBreaking news: enemy media: Firefighter teams are working to extinguish the fire that broke out after Iraqi drone or fragments of it fell in Wadi Arab\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the video via the \u201cINVID\u201d tool and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to the Iraqi march that targeted a site in the Jordan Valley. The video clip was published by \u201cAl-Araby TV<\/a>\u201d account on Facebook on 8 June 2024 in a report with the following title: \u201cA huge fire in a plastic products factory in Rishon LeZion\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

The video was accompanied by the following text: \u201cSpread to neighboring buildings, a huge fire broke out in a factory in Rishon LeZion, Israel, containing plastic products and packaging materials.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Qastal news<\/a>\u00a0account also published\u00a0on \u201cX\u201d on 8 June 2024 the same video, with the following text: \u201cHebrew media: A huge fire broke out in a factory in \u201cRishon LeZion\u201d in central occupied Palestine, and 14 firefighting teams are working to extinguish it\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

The video clip was also published on the Israeli-Hebrew website \u201cWalla\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on 8 June 2024 in a report, \u201cA large fire in an industrial building in the city of Rishon LeZion, and the collapse of the building\u2019s roof\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report<\/a>\u00a0stated\u00a0that a large fire broke out on Friday evening, 8 June 2024, in an industrial complex on Eliyahu Eitan Street in Rishon LeZion, which contained plastic products and packaging materials. 16 firefighting teams were called to the scene and reports indicated that thick smoke and the smell of burning were rising in the air in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq<\/a>\u00a0published a statement at dawn on Wednesday, 25 September 2024, which stated: \u201cThe Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked today, Wednesday, 25\/9\/2024, using the Arqab \u201cdeveloped cruise\u201d missile, a vital target in the north of our occupied territories\u201d. The statement was also accompanied\u00a0by a video clip<\/a>\u00a0documenting scenes of the drone targeting a target near the Jordan Valley.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this,\u00a0the Israeli occupation army announced<\/a>\u00a0that it had detected a drone that had entered the airspace of Israel from the east, and that it had fallen in the Wadi Araba area. It also indicated that firefighting teams were working to extinguish the fire that broke out at the site of the drone\u2019s fall or its parts, without providing details about the material or human losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
