Accounts on X published a design that mimicked the design of Al-Araby channel<\/a>, claiming that the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army announced the surrender of 2,800 Hezbollah members. The claim included the following text: \u201cChief of Staff of the Israeli army: The surrender of 2,800 Hezbollah fighters, who are under the control of the Israeli Defense Forces\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the design and found that it is fake, and that the statement it contains is plagiaristic. Kashif’s team searched the official website of Al Arabiya channel and its official pages on social media platforms, and did not find any mention of this statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon examining the circulated design attributed to Al-Araby, Kashif noticed that the type of font used was completely different from the type of font used by Al-Araby pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kashif’s team also searched the latest statements of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Occupation Army, Herzi Halevi, and did not find any mention of information about the surrender of 2,800 Hezbollah members and the occupation army\u2019s control over them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest statement by the Chief of Staff of the Occupation Army, Herzi Halevi,<\/a> was made on Wednesday, 25 September 2024, during his visit to a training exercise for the Seventh Brigade Division on the northern border. Halevi said: \u201cYou can hear the planes here, and we are attacking all day long. This is to prepare the area for the possibility of your return, as well as to continue attacking Hezbollah. Hezbollah expanded the circle of fire today, and will receive a very strong response later today. We will prepare\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday we will continue, we will not stop, we will continue the attack and we will continue to hit them everywhere. The goal is very clear: the return of the residents of the north safely.
