Accounts on X <\/a>published a photo\u00a0showing a fire breaking out in the Golan Heights, claiming that the photo was recent from Hezbollah\u2019s targeting of the Rafael Technology Company in Haifa, \u201cHaifa is burning, the largest military technology company is now burning\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the image via reverse image search on \u201cgoogle image\u201d, and found that the image is old and documents a fire in the occupied Golan Heights, not in Haifa. The image was published by\u00a0Ynet<\/a>\u00a0on 4 June 2024 of a fire in the Katzrin area in the occupied Golan Heights, as a result of Hezbollah targeting Israeli sites with more than 150 missiles and 20 drones, which led to fires in many sites in the occupied Galilee and Golan Heights.<\/p>\n\n\n

On 4 June 2024 ,\u00a0Hezbollah announced<\/a>\u00a0that it had bombed the headquarters of the Golan Division with more than 200 missiles, and that it had carried out an air attack by suicide drones on the headquarters of the Israeli occupation army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hezbollah announced for the second time<\/a>\u00a0on Monday 23 September 2024 that it had bombed the military industries complexes of Rafael, the Israeli occupation army did not announce that it had been hit.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Israeli occupation army<\/a>\u00a0launched hundreds of air strikes on southern and eastern Lebanon since Monday morning,23 September 2024, and Hezbollah responded with barrages of missiles and drones that reached Haifa and Marj Ibn Amer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad<\/a>\u00a0announced\u00a0that 558 people were killed and 1,835 others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation bombing of southern Lebanon at the time of publishing this verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
