Social media<\/a> accounts recently posted a video showing a car explosion, claiming that the video was taken in Lebanon, coinciding with the pagers explosion attack. <\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif verified the video via the \u201cINVID\u201d tool and found that it is old and wrongly linked to the pager explosion attack in Lebanon. The video was published by the \u201cTheMrSuslov<\/a>\u201d channel on YouTube on 14 June 2013 with the following title: \u201cA car explodes with gas cylinders in Moscow\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n

The Russian website \u201cArgumentations and Facts<\/a>\u201d also published the video on 13 July 2013 in a report with the following title: \u201cMore than 100 gas cylinders exploded as a result of a truck accident on the Moscow Ring Road\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report<\/a> stated that an accident occurred on the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road on Saturday evening, 13 June 2013, causing difficulties in the movement of vehicles and resulting in the explosion of 119 gas cylinders that were in the back of the truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon examining the video clip, Kashif’s <\/a>team noticed that one of the cars appearing in the video has a plate number \u201cA699yoI197RUS\u201d with the Russian flag. Kashif also found that the symbol \u201cRUS\u201d refers to Russia.  <\/p>\n\n\n
