Kashif verified the claim and found it to be misleading. Photojournalist Moaz Abu Taha, who took the video, told Kashif that the child appearing in the video is 8 year-old Mahmoud Ahmed Samour, who was murdered in the targeting of a tent in the Abasan area east of Khan Yunis on 21 August 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taha stated that he posted the video on his Instagram account on the same date, but the platform deleted the video after about 12 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Palestinian Ministry of Health<\/a>\u00a0in Gaza announced in its latest update, on Thursday, 5 September 2024 that the death toll of the aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,878 and 94,454 injuries since 7 October 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
