Kashif verified the video via the \u201cINVID\u201d tool and found that it is old and the claim is misleading. The video was published by \u201c\u00a0Al Jazeera Mubasher<\/a>\u00a0\u201d channel via its account on the Facebook on 13 March 2022, with the following caption: \u201cWatch the moment 12 missiles fell on Erbil, Iraq\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

Asharq Al-Awsat<\/a>\u00a0 page had also published the video on 13 March 2022 via Facebook, accompanied by the following description: \u201cThe moment several missiles fell on the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Kashif found that \u201c\u00a0Naya<\/a>\u00a0\u201d account on Aparat published the video on 12 March 2022, titled \u201cIranian missile attack on the US-Israeli base in Erbil, Iraq. Reason: the killing of two Iranians.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several\u00a0explosions<\/a>\u00a0occurred in the vicinity of the Conoco gas field in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, from midnight on Tuesday to Wednesday, 14 August 2024, as a result of a missile attack targeting the American base located inside the field. A security source told\u00a0Reuters<\/a>\u00a0that armed groups supported by Iran targeted the American base with six shells, all of which fell in the vicinity of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
