Social media accounts posted two videos of airdrops of aid, claiming they were recent airdrops to the Gaza Strip carried out by Emirati aircraft. The videos were accompanied by the following description: “Emirati aircraft continue to deliver humanitarian aid and food supplies to Gaza to relieve Palestinian families and support them in the difficult circumstances they are experiencing.”

Kashif verified the two videos via Google Lens search and found that they were old videos that had been circulating since 2024 and did not depict recent airdrops of aid by the UAE.
The first video documenting crowds heading to the aid drop sites was posted by “Ahmed Al-Zoubi ” account on “X” on 29 February 2024, with the following description: “From today’s Jordanian airdrop in Gaza.” “Arab Defense” “X” account on 1 March 2024, with the following text: “Humanitarian and relief aid dropped by UAE Air Force aircraft.”

The second video, documenting the unloading of aid from an airplane, was posted by a group of accounts on X , including the account ” Mohammed Taqi,” on 31 March 2024. The accounts sated that it depicted an Emirati aid drop in the Gaza Strip. A closer look at the video reveals the presence of the UAE flag on the aid.

The Jordanian Armed Forces said in a statement on Sunday, 27 July 2025, that they, in partnership with the United Arab Emirates, carried out “three airdrops to deliver humanitarian and food aid to several locations in the Gaza Strip.” The statement added that the airdrops included “25 tons of food and basic necessities.”
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday, 27 July 2025, that a total of 73 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on the same day, in the north and south of the Strip, “most of which were subjected to looting and theft,” in addition to three airdrops, which the office said “only amounted to two aid trucks.”
The Government Media Office added in the statement that these airstrikes “fell in red zones designated by the occupation as combat zones, which civilians are prohibited from accessing, rendering them of no humanitarian benefit.”
